A.L. Sims & Son Ltd. has a proud history in construction.  From its start in 1972, the business has diversified from logging, clearing and stripping to include rock drilling, blasting, mass excavations, road construction, underground servicing, tunneling and mining.  Today the primary focus of A.L. Sims & Son Ltd.'s Prince George shop, "Otway Works", is on the remanufacturing/refurbishing and repair of equipment from those fields.  A.L. Sims & Son Ltd. is still involved with civil construction and road building projects.  Recently added as divisions under A.L. Sims & Son Ltd. are Roktek Services (mining, tunneling, drilling & blasting) and Fortitude Structures (bridge construction, concrete projects, precast concrete).
